John is an Executive Coach with over 35 years of business experience in consulting roles in the financial services industry, leadership development and corporate HR. Through a unique perspective supported by formal graduate education and hands-on experience in both business and psychology, John coaches executives to effectively leverage their strengths, recognize blind spots, manage reputation, drive change and cultivate productive team environments.
John has coached leaders at all levels including the C-Suite to achieve success in their current role as well as prepare them for targeted career advancement. John has helped clients simplify complex situations, navigate cultural assimilation and build high value client relationships. In addition, he has expertise providing video feedback that helps clients improve executive presence and presentation skills.
John has coached both teams and individuals in a wide range of industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Insurance, Defense, Retail, Manufacturing and Travel.
Business Background and Credentials
Prior to starting JJK Consulting in 2024, John coached at the Partner level at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, worked as a career consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison, held a regional HR position with Ask Jeeves, created best practices and performed global product consulting for Thomson Financial and served as a business analyst for Fidelity Investments and Harvard Management Company.
Certifications include multiple 360 feedback assessments, the Hogan Leadership Forecast Series, Brain Based Coaching, Myers-Briggs, Team Coaching International’s team assessment and the Thomas – Killman Conflict Model Instrument. Trained in Strozzi Somatic Coaching and Immunity to Change Model.
